Summary

CVE-2024-28251 is a vulnerability affecting Querybook, a Big Data Querying UI. The issue lies in the application's Websocket Server, which currently has a misconfigured Cross-Origin Resource Sharing (CORS) setting. This setting allows all origins, making it possible for attackers to perform cross-site websocket hijacking. By doing so, they can read, edit, or remove datadocs of affected users. This security flaw has been resolved in version 3.32.0, and users are strongly advised to upgrade as soon as possible. There is no reported workaround for this vulnerability.
