Summary
CVE-2024-28245 is a vulnerability affecting KaTeX, a popular JavaScript library used for rendering TeX math expressions on the web. Malicious input using the `\\includegraphics` command can lead KaTeX users to execute arbitrary JavaScript or generate invalid HTML. This issue represents a significant security risk for websites and applications that process untrusted mathematical expressions. KaTeX users are advised to upgrade to the latest version, KaTeX v0.16.10, to mitigate this vulnerability.
