Summary

CVE-2024-28198 is a vulnerability affecting OpenOlat, an open-source e-learning platform. Maliciously crafted HTTP requests during the use of the draw.io integration can lead to reading arbitrary files as the system user and Server Side Request Forgery (SSRF). The latest versions 18.1.6 and 18.2.2 have resolved this issue. It is strongly recommended to upgrade to the latest versions of 18.1.x or 18.2.x to mitigate the risk. As an alternative, disabling the Draw.io module or the entire REST API can secure affected systems until an upgrade is feasible.
