Summary
CVE-2024-28176 is a vulnerability affecting the jose JavaScript library, specifically its JSON Web Encryption (JWE) decryption interfaces. Under certain decryption conditions, the library may consume excessive CPU time or memory due to a flaw in the support for decompressing plaintext.
