Summary
CVE-2024-28114 is a serious vulnerability affecting Peering Manager, a BGP session management tool. The issue involves Server Side Template Injection, which allows an attacker to execute arbitrary commands on the underlying operating system, bypassing Peering Manager's security controls. This vulnerability can result in remote code execution, posing a significant risk. Peering Manager versions prior to 1.8.3 are impacted, and users are strongly advised to upgrade as there are no known workarounds for this vulnerability.
