Summary

CVE-2024-27926 is a vulnerability affecting RSSHub, an open-source RSS feed generator. Prior to version 1.0.0-master.d8ca915, the internal media proxy in RSSHub did not handle Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerabilities. As a result, if a specially crafted image is supplied to the proxy, it can execute arbitrary JavaScript code. This vulnerability poses a risk to users who access the maliciously constructed URL. The issue was resolved in version 1.0.0-master.d8ca915, but no workarounds have been identified for affected users before upgrading.
