Summary

CVE-2024-2732 is a stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the Themify Shortcodes plugin for WordPress. This issue, present in versions up to 2.0.8, allows authenticated attackers with contributor-level access or higher to inject malicious scripts into the 'themify_post_slider' shortcode. The unsanitized and inadequately escaped user-supplied attributes in this shortcode enable the attacker's scripts to execute whenever an injected page is accessed by users.
