Summary

CVE-2024-27298 is a newly identified vulnerability affecting parse-server, a Node.js/Express implementation of Parse Server for handling backend logic. This issue permits SQL injection when parse-server is configured to use PostgreSQL as its database. Attackers can exploit this flaw to execute malicious SQL queries, potentially leading to unauthorized data access or modification. Users are advised to upgrade to version 6.5.0 or 7.0.0-alpha.20 for a patch against this vulnerability.
