Summary

CVE-2024-2636 is a newly discovered vulnerability affecting Cegid Meta4 HR. This issue involves an Unrestricted File Upload vulnerability, which enables attackers to upload malicious files to the server through the '/config/espanol/update_password.jsp' file. By manipulating the 'M4_NEW_PASSWORD' parameter, a malicious JSP file can be stored in the directory, allowing it to be executed whenever the file is loaded in the application. This weakness could potentially lead to serious security breaches and unauthorized access to sensitive data.
