Summary

CVE-2024-26169 is a newly disclosed vulnerability affecting the Windows Error Reporting Service. This elevation of privilege vulnerability allows an attacker to gain higher system privileges by exploiting a weakness in the service. Successful exploitation could result in the installation of unauthorized software, the theft of sensitive data, or the disruption of critical system functions.
