Summary
CVE-2024-23830 is a vulnerability affecting the open-source issue tracker MantisBT. Before the release of version 2.26.1, an unauthenticated attacker could hijack user accounts by manipulating password reset notification links. This was possible by knowing the user's email address and username. Users can apply the patch in version 2.26.1 to mitigate this issue. As a temporary solution, it's recommended to adjust the `$g_path` variable in `config_inc.php` file accordingly.
