Summary
CVE-2024-25153 is a directory traversal vulnerability affecting the 'ftpservlet' component of the FileCatalyst Workflow Web Portal. The issue allows uploaded files to be saved outside of the intended 'uploadtemp' directory using a carefully crafted POST request. In scenarios where a file is uploaded to the portal's DocumentRoot, attackers can exploit this vulnerability by uploading and executing malicious JSP files, potentially leading to code execution and the installation of web shells.
