Summary

CVE-2024-25120 is a vulnerability affecting the open-source PHP content management system TYPO3. The issue allows unauthorized access to resources outside of users' permission scope using the `t3://` URI scheme. This includes files, folders, pages, and records, but only if a valid link-handling configuration is available. Leveraging this vulnerability necessitates a valid backend user account. TYPO3 users are urged to upgrade to versions 8.7.57 ELTS, 9.5.46 ELTS, 10.4.43 ELTS, 11.5.35 LTS, 12.4.11 LTS, and 13.0.1 to address the issue. No known workarounds are available for this vulnerability.
