Summary

CVE-2024-25062 is a vulnerability affecting libxml2 before version 2.11.7 and 2.12.x before 2.12.5. This issue arises when using the XML Reader interface with DTD validation and XInclude expansion enabled. Processing maliciously crafted XML documents can result in an xmlValidatePopElement use-after-free, potentially leading to memory corruption and arbitrary code execution.
