Summary
CVE-2024-24930 is a Cross-site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the Buttons Shortcode and Widget from OTWthemes.com. The issue stems from improper neutralization of user input during web page generation. An attacker can exploit this vulnerability to inject malicious scripts into a targeted website, potentially stealing user data or taking control of user sessions. This flaw affects versions 1.16 and below of the Buttons Shortcode and Widget. Users are advised to update to the latest version or contact OTWthemes for assistance to mitigate this risk.
