CVE-2024-2486 is a newly disclosed critical vulnerability impacting Tenda AC18 devices running firmware version 15.03.05.05. This issue resides in the function formQuickIndex of the /goform/QuickIndex file, and it allows for stack-based buffer overflow via manipulation of the PPPOEPassword argument. An attacker can take advantage of this remotely, leading to potential code execution and system compromise.
