Summary

CVE-2024-24399 is a newly identified vulnerability affecting LEPTON version 7.0.0. This issue grants authenticated attackers the ability to upload arbitrary PHP code to the backend/languages/index.php area, exploiting an arbitrary file upload vulnerability. Successful exploitation results in the execution of the attacker's PHP code on the targeted system. The vulnerability poses a significant risk as it can lead to serious security implications, including unauthorized system access and data breaches.
