Summary
CVE-2024-24398 is a newly disclosed Directory Traversal vulnerability affecting Stimulsoft Dashboard.JS versions prior to 2024.1.2. An attacker can exploit this flaw by providing a maliciously crafted fileName parameter to the Save function, potentially leading to arbitrary code execution. This vulnerability poses a significant risk as it can be exploited remotely, allowing unauthorized access or data manipulation. Users are strongly advised to update to the latest version of Stimulsoft Dashboard.JS to mitigate this risk.
