Summary

CVE-2024-24146 is a memory leak vulnerability affecting the parseSWF_DEFINEBUTTON function in libming v0.4.8. An attacker can exploit this flaw by supplying a specially crafted SWF file, resulting in denial of service conditions due to memory exhaustion. The vulnerability arises from insufficient memory management within the parseSWF_DEFINEBUTTON function. Users are advised to update to the latest version of libming to mitigate this risk.
