Summary

CVE-2024-24135 is a newly disclosed vulnerability affecting the "Add Product" section of the Sourcecodester Product Inventory with Export to Excel 1.0. This issue allows malicious users to execute Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) attacks by injecting malicious code into the Product Name and Product Code fields. Successful exploitation could lead to unintended execution of malicious scripts in the user's web browser, potentially resulting in session hijacking, data theft, or other forms of unauthorized system access.
