Summary

CVE-2024-2399 is a stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the Premium Addons PRO plugin for WordPress. This issue, which impacts versions up to and including 4.10.23, allows authenticated attackers with contributor-level permissions and above to inject arbitrary web scripts. The vulnerability stems from insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user-supplied attributes within the plugin's widgets. As a result, when a user accesses an injected page, the malicious scripts will execute.
