Summary

CVE-2024-23982 is a newly disclosed vulnerability that can cause the Traffic Management Microkernel (TMM) of BIG-IP PEM classification profiles on UDP virtual servers to terminate when undisclosed requests are received. This issue affects classification engines with specific signature files released between August 9, 2022, and February 16, 2023. F5 Security Advisory provides a comprehensive list of affected signature files. Notably, software versions that have reached End of Technical Support (EoTS) are not evaluated in this context.
