Summary
CVE-2024-23904 is a vulnerability affecting the Jenkins Log Command Plugin version 1.0.2 and earlier. The issue lies in the plugin's command parser, which fails to disable a feature that interprets '@' followed by a file path in an argument as a file reference and replaces it with the file's contents. Consequently, unauthenticated attackers can read arbitrary files on the Jenkins controller file system. This vulnerability poses a significant risk as it enables information disclosure, potentially leading to further exploitation.
