Summary
CVE-2024-23901 is a vulnerability affecting the Jenkins GitLab Branch Source Plugin version 684.eas_fa_7c1e2fe3 and earlier. This issue allows attackers to unconditionally discover projects shared with the configured owner group, granting them the ability to configure and share projects. Consequently, a malicious pipeline can be built by Jenkins during the subsequent group scan, potentially leading to unauthorized pipeline execution. This vulnerability could result in significant security implications if exploited.
