CVE-2024-23900 is a newly disclosed vulnerability affecting the Jenkins Matrix Project Plugin version 822.v01b_8c85d16d2 and earlier. This issue permits users with Item/Configure permissions to manipulate axis names in multi-configuration projects, leading to uncontrolled file creation or replacement of config.xml files on the Jenkins controller file system.
