CVE-2024-23899 is a vulnerability affecting the Jenkins Git server Plugin version 99.va_0826a_b_cdfa_d and earlier. This issue arises from the plugin's failure to disable a command parser feature, which allows an attacker with Overall/Read permissions to read content from arbitrary files on the Jenkins controller file system. The vulnerability is triggered by replacing an '@' character followed by a file path in an argument with the file's contents, potentially exposing sensitive information.
