Summary
CVE-2024-23896 is a newly reported vulnerability affecting Cups Easy (Purchase & Inventory), version 1.0. This issue stems from insufficient encoding of user-controlled inputs, which leads to a Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability. An attacker can exploit this weakness by crafting a malicious URL and sending it to an authenticated user. Successful exploitation could result in the theft of the victim's session cookie credentials.
