Summary
CVE-2024-23888: A newly discovered vulnerability affects Cups Easy (Purchase & Inventory), version 1.0. The issue involves insufficient encoding of user-controlled inputs, leading to a Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability. This weakness can be exploited through the /cupseasylive/stocktransactionslist.php file, specifically the itemidy parameter. An attacker can craft a malicious URL and send it to an authenticated user. Successful exploitation may result in the theft of the user's session cookie credentials.
