CVE-2024-23883 is a newly reported vulnerability affecting Cups Easy (Purchase & Inventory) version 1.0. The issue lies in the lack of adequate encoding of user-controlled inputs in the /cupseasylive/taxstructuremodify.php script. This deficiency results in a Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability. A remote attacker can exploit this flaw by crafting a malicious URL and sending it to an authenticated user. Successful exploitation could lead to the theft of the user's session cookie credentials.
