CVE-2024-23882 is a newly reported vulnerability affecting Cups Easy (Purchase & Inventory) version 1.0. This issue stems from insufficient encoding of user-controlled inputs, leading to a Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability. The flaw can be exploited via the taxcodeid parameter in /cupseasylive/taxcodecreate.php. An attacker who successfully exploits this vulnerability can craft a malicious URL and send it to an authenticated user, potentially stealing their session cookie credentials.
