Summary

CVE-2024-2387 is a critical SQL Injection vulnerability affecting the Advanced Form Integration plugin for WordPress, specifically versions up to and including 1.82.0. This issue stems from insufficient escaping on the 'integration_id' parameter, which allows unauthenticated attackers to append malicious SQL queries to existing ones. As a result, attackers can inject arbitrary web scripts into pages, potentially executing malicious code when a user performs a susceptible action, such as clicking on a link. The lack of preparation on the SQL queries exacerbates the risk, making it essential for users to update the plugin to the latest version and apply additional security measures to protect their WordPress sites.
