Summary
CVE-2024-2384 is a vulnerability affecting the WooCommerce POS plugin for WordPress. In all versions up to 1.4.11, the plugin fails to adequately verify user authentication and authorization. Consequently, attackers with customer-level access and above can gain unauthorized access to sensitive information of other users by using their order ID. This vulnerability poses a significant risk, as it can lead to data exposure and potential privacy breaches. It is strongly recommended that users upgrade to the latest version of the plugin to mitigate this risk.
