Summary
CVE-2024-23795 is a newly discovered vulnerability affecting Tecnomatix Plant Simulation V2201 (prior to V2201.0012) and Tecnomatix Plant Simulation V2302 (prior to V2302.0006). The issue lies in the application's handling of WRL files, specifically an out-of-bounds write past the end of an allocated buffer during parsing. A maliciously crafted WRL file could exploit this weakness, enabling an attacker to execute arbitrary code in the context of the current process.
