Summary
CVE-2024-23747 is a newly identified vulnerability affecting the Moderna Sistemas ModernaNet Hospital Management System. This issue is classified as an Insecure Direct Object Reference (IDOR) vulnerability. The system fails to properly validate user input when accessing medical data through the URI /Modernanet/LAUDO/LAU0000100/Laudo?. An attacker can exploit this vulnerability by manipulating the id parameter to gain unauthorized access to sensitive medical information belonging to other patients. This vulnerability poses a significant risk to patient privacy and confidentiality. It is recommended that users update their systems as soon as a patch is available to mitigate this risk.
