Summary

CVE-2024-23732 is a newly disclosed vulnerability affecting Embedchain before version 0.1.57. This issue involves the JSON loader component, which is susceptible to a ReDoS (Regular Expression Denial of Service) attack. An adversary can exploit this flaw by supplying a maliciously crafted long string to the json.py file, resulting in the JSON parser entering an infinite loop and consuming excessive system resources.
