Summary

CVE-2024-23730 is a new vulnerability affecting the OpenAPI and ChatGPT plugin loaders in LlamaHub (llama-hub) before version 0.0.67. This issue enables attackers to execute arbitrary code due to the misuse of the 'safe_load' function in handling YAML files. The vulnerable software fails to use 'safe_load,' leaving it open to malicious YAML input. This can result in significant security risks, as attackers can exploit this flaw to gain unauthorized access and potentially compromise the entire system. Users are strongly advised to upgrade to the latest version of LlamaHub to mitigate this vulnerability.
