Summary

CVE-2024-23682 is a newly disclosed vulnerability affecting Artemis Java Test Sandbox versions prior to 1.8.0. This issue allows an attacker to bypass the sandbox security restrictions by including malicious class files in a trusted package. As a result, an attacker can execute arbitrary Java code when a victim runs the seemingly secure code. This vulnerability poses a significant risk for organizations using Artemis Java Test Sandbox and highlights the importance of keeping software up to date to mitigate potential threats.
