Summary
CVE-2024-23660: In July 2023, the Binance Trust Wallet iOS app, specifically in commit 3cd6e8f647fbba8b5d8844fcd144365a086b629f and git tag 0.0.4, was found to misuse the trezor-crypto library. This misuse resulted in the generation of mnemonic words using only the device time as an entropy source. Attackers can exploit this vulnerability by systematically generating mnemonics for each timestamp within an applicable timeframe and linking them to specific wallet addresses, leading to significant economic losses.
