Summary
CVE-2024-23654 is a vulnerability affecting the Discourse AI plugin (discourse-ai). Prior to commit 94ba0dadc2cf38e8f81c3936974c167219878edd, the plugin was susceptible to admin-initiated Server Side Request Forgery (SSRF) attacks during interactions with various AI services. This issue could lead to unauthorized data access or manipulation. A patch has been released in more recent versions of the plugin to address this vulnerability. As a temporary measure, users can disable the discourse-ai plugin to mitigate the risk.
