Summary
CVE-2024-23609 is a newly identified vulnerability affecting LabVIEW, a data acquisition and control software. This issue stems from an error handling flaw that could potentially enable remote code execution. Leveraging a specially crafted VI (Virtual Instrument), an attacker can successfully exploit this vulnerability, potentially gaining unauthorized system access. LabVIEW versions prior to Q1 2024 are susceptible to this issue.
