Summary

CVE-2024-2329 is a newly disclosed critical vulnerability affecting the Netentsec NS-ASG Application Security Gateway version 6.3. The issue lies in the unknown functionality of the file /admin/list_resource_icon.php?action=delete, where manipulation of the IconId argument can lead to SQL injection. This vulnerability can be exploited remotely, meaning an attacker does not need to have local access to exploit it. The exploit for this vulnerability, identified as VDB-256280, has been made public, increasing the risk for potential attacks. Despite early notification, the vendor has yet to respond.
