Summary
CVE-2024-22955 is a newly discovered stack-buffer-underflow vulnerability affecting the swftools 0.9.2 software. This issue resides in the parseExpression function located at swftools/src/swfc.c:2576. An attacker can exploit this vulnerability by providing malicious input to trigger the buffer underflow, potentially gaining unauthorized control over the program's execution flow.
