Summary

CVE-2024-22955 is a newly discovered stack-buffer-underflow vulnerability affecting the swftools 0.9.2 software. This issue resides in the parseExpression function located at swftools/src/swfc.c:2576. An attacker can exploit this vulnerability by providing malicious input to trigger the buffer underflow, potentially gaining unauthorized control over the program's execution flow. Successful exploitation could result in arbitrary code execution or a denial of service condition.
