Summary
CVE-2024-2271 is a newly disclosed critical vulnerability affecting the HTTP POST Request Handler component of keerti1924 Online-Book-Store-Website 1.0. The vulnerability lies in an unknown part of the /shop.php file and can be exploited through manipulation of the product_name argument. This allows for remote sql injection, giving attackers unauthorized access to sensitive data. The exploit has been made public, increasing the risk of potential attacks. The vulnerability has been assigned the identifier VDB-256041, and despite early notification, the vendor has yet to respond.
