Summary

CVE-2024-22660 is a newly disclosed stack overflow vulnerability affecting firmware version V9.1.2u.6165 of the TOTOLINK A3700R router. The issue is triggered by the setLanguageCfg function, which fails to validate user input leading to buffer overflow conditions. An attacker could potentially exploit this vulnerability to execute arbitrary code and gain unauthorized access or control to the router. Users are urged to update their routers as soon as a patch becomes available to mitigate the risk.
