Summary

CVE-2024-2255 is a Stored Cross-Site Scripting vulnerability affecting the Essential Blocks – Page Builder plugin for WordPress. Versions up to 4.5.2 are impacted by this issue. Attackers with contributor-level access or higher can exploit the insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user-supplied listStyle attributes in plugin widgets. This vulnerability enables attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts into pages, which will execute whenever a user visits an injected page.
