Summary

CVE-2024-22496 is a newly disclosed Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting JFinalcms version 5.0.0. This issue permits attackers to inject and execute malicious scripts via the /admin/login username parameter. Successful exploitation of this vulnerability can lead to unauthorized access, data theft, or other malicious activities. Users of JFinalcms 5.0.0 are strongly advised to update to apatched version as soon as possible to mitigate this risk. Attackers can exploit this vulnerability by manipulating the input in the username parameter during a login request, resulting in the execution of their malicious code in the victim's web browser.
