Summary

CVE-2024-22473 is a vulnerability affecting the Gecko SDK up to version 4.4.0. The issue stems from the Early Misuse of the True Random Number Generator (TRNG) in the ECDSA signing driver during exit sequences on Virtual Secure Vault (VSE) devices. This flaw may enable an attacker to spoof signatures by producing counterfeit keys. The TRNG is utilized before its proper initialization, potentially weakening the security of the signing process in the EM2/EM3 states.
