Summary
CVE-2024-22454 is a vulnerability affecting Dell PowerProtect Data Manager versions 19.15 and older. This issue involves a weak password recovery mechanism that allows unauthenticated remote attackers to gain unauthorized access to the application. By retrieving a reset password token without authorization, attackers can perform password changes and potentially take control of an account with privileged access.
