Summary
CVE-2024-2244 is a vulnerability affecting a REST service's authentication mechanism. An anomaly arises when a user provides a valid username but no password in a batch job processing context. Surprisingly, such a credential combination leads to a successful service invocation, despite the lack of a password. It is essential to note that this vulnerability only occurs under specific circumstances and is not present with other credential combinations.
