CVE-2024-22258 is a newly disclosed vulnerability affecting Spring Authorization Server versions 1.0.0 to 1.0.5, 1.1.0 to 1.1.5, and 1.2.0 to 1.2.2, as well as older unsupported versions. The issue lies in the susceptibility to a PKCE (Proof Key for Code Exchange) Downgrade Attack for Confidential Clients.
